Show, Don’t Tell

The boy was sad

As his vision starts to blur water starts rushing out his eyes like a waterfall, his breathing then becomes unsteady making sounds of a puppy whimpering after a losing something dare to him. His eyes now are as red as a rose. His fists tighten as he presses them to the floor, shaking with no control losing himself in his sorrows.

The dog wanted to go for a walk

The high pitch screams directly pointed in his owners ears, as the sticky slim in now stuck to the side of his masters face. Drenched in the fresh slim the man wakes from the sleep. The dog now sitting on the floor with his tail brushing against the carpet, the dogs master finally rolls out of his bed preparing the equipment, now even more hyper then ever screams become louder and louder, finally the door has been opened and the dog sprints straight throw to get to its freedom.

The temperature fell and the ice reflected the sun.

Shivers soon run down my spin as the glittery coat slowly covers the ground like a blanket, reflecting the shine of the last piece of warmth that tries to save us.
